With a high tube voltage of 300V and up to 90 dB of tube gain per channel, the WA-MPX provides plenty of headroom and an open, full-bodied tonal foundation. When pushed into saturation, the tubes naturally produce harmonic distortion and compression. The built-in “Tape Sat” (tape saturation) circuit adds an extra layer of pure analog warmth and harmonic color.
