Bi-wiring and jumper cables are designed for loudspeakers with two separate pairs of binding posts. Jumper links connect the high- and low-frequency sections of a speaker crossover when a single speaker cable is used, replacing the factory-supplied metal links. For true bi-wiring, the links are removed and the high- and low-frequency terminals are supplied through separate conductor pairs from the same amplifier output.
