The WA-19 revives one of the most beloved dynamic studio and live microphones of the 1960s, combining the critical off-axis rejection, reduced proximity effect, and rugged metal construction of a dynamic microphone with added clarity and detail more reminiscent of a studio-grade condenser mic.
The built-in acoustic high-pass filter allows attenuation of up to 10 dB at 50 Hz to eliminate unwanted low frequencies. This makes the WA-19 ideal for detailed recordings of cymbals and overheads, acoustic guitar, studio and live vocals, snare bottom, guitar cabinets, and more.
