Design, outlets and connectivity

 

The SRX PowerCell 14 offers 14 outlets arranged in a high‑current isolated bank, fed by a robust Neutrik Powercon 32 A input for secure connection and maximum current capability. An included 1.8 m SRX XL power cable ensures a matching, high‑performance link from the wall to the conditioner. This configuration makes the SRX PowerCell 14 perfectly suited as the central power hub in complex, multi‑component systems.

 

EM Cells, supercap behaviour and biasing

 

Inside, seven SRX XL folded carbon fiber EM Cells plus one horizontal plane EM Cell are used to condition the AC power. These EM Cells not only filter noise but also act as supercaps, increasing peak current delivery so that demanding amplifiers can sound more dynamic and controlled. An active second‑generation SRX linear power supply is used to bias the EM Cells for maximum effect.

 

Advanced materials and wiring

 

Graphene treatment is applied throughout the unit, enhancing conductivity and noise rejection. Internally, the SRX PowerCell 14 uses around 0.5 kg of pure silver wire (12 AWG / 3.3 mm², 99.9999% purity) for ultra‑low impedance power delivery, along with a 99.995% pure silver ground strap for a clean, stable grounding reference.

 

ULF tuning and visual features

 

A dual‑channel, dual‑setting SRX ULF generator allows fine tuning of the ultra‑low‑frequency bias applied to the EM Cells, further optimizing the perceived soundstage and tonal balance. Clear front and top windows showcase the internal design, while nine internal light color options (including „off“) let you visually integrate the SRX PowerCell 14 into your system and listening room.

 

Dimensions and system integration

 

Weighing 16.3 kg and measuring 44.5 × 36 × 13.2 cm (17.5 × 14.2 × 5.2 inch), the SRX PowerCell 14 combines substantial build quality with manageable size for rack or shelf installation.
