Lehmann Audio Black Cube SE II - Sven Väth Edition

- hear your vinyl collection in a new light, with the Black Cube SE II  SV phono stage

The Lehmann Audio Black Cube SEII Sven Väth Edition has become a Lehmann Audio classic over the years. It is a constant development of the already int 1995 launched Black Cube phono preamp.

From there the SEII version was the next step to improve this already legendary design even further in 2003.

The Lehmann Audio Black Cube SE II Sven Väth phono stage is a special edition, which varies optically, as well as technically from the original version.

The black and elegant looking matte frontplate, as well as the orange logo and the status LED are what sets the SEII Sven Väth apart at first sight.

The backside of the unit offers gold-plated RCA Phono Inputs and Outputs, as well as a big screw for the earthing of the unit. The 4-pole XLR cable from the power supply to the phono preamp is 2.5m long, so that the phono stage can be placed far away from the PSU and other powered periphery, in order to reduce hum and buzz.

Configuration

On the bottom of the unit you can select 6 different modes with a DIP-switch "mouse piano", which let you match the Black Cube SE II SV with your turntable.
Moving on you have got further options to fit the phono preamp to your needs inside the box.The Black Cube SEII SV is capable of running both Moving Coil (MC) as well as Moving Magnet (MM) needles.

Differences to the standard SE II

Beside the already in the SE II option included feature, to be able to select 16 different stages to fine tune the sound of the Bass, the SE II Sven Väth got an improved impulse response. This is realised by swapping the MKP-condensators against faster Mundorfs.

Also included

To round the package up, a DINA4 poster is inside the box, as well as the 'Electric Salsa" EP, a must have collectible.

The Lehmann Audio Black Cube SE II Sven Väth sets itself apart with given features and is not only destined to satisfy traditional vinly enthusiasts, but also Hifi listeners with a love for club music, due to it's flexible selectable bass-modes.
