The Nero Monitor Controller is the smart way of monitoring your audio sources. It gives you the means to reference mixes on up to three sets of speakers. Building on Audient's analog console heritage, the Nero provides you with a large main control room knob that acts as the main volume control.
 
The Nero utilises Precision Matched Attenuation Technology to perfectly balance the left and right channels of your stereo signal. With Smart Touchpoints, you can customise your workflow to cater to your needs. With console-style monitoring control and a built-in talkback mic, the Nero provides you with everything you need to take control of your studio.

Comprehensive I/O connectivity
 
Plug in virtually anything. From audio interfaces and media players to even your smartphone, the Nero can do it all. It features four stereo analog sources in total, including two line level inputs, a dedicated cue mix input and an an aux input.
It also features a variety of outputs including four headphones outs (with flexible routing) and an assignable sub output. A pair of main speaker outputs are included, as a well as two alternative speaker outputs. This allows you to demo your mixes on various speakers, helping to achieve the best possible sound when it comes to mastering.
 
Precision Matched Attenuation Technology - matches stereo levels
 
One of the most unique features of the Nero is the Precision Matched Attenuation Technology. This custom technology allows the monitor controller to precisely match the volume of the left and right channels in your stereo signal. This is perfect for studio monitors, eliminating the need to balance tedious volume controls on the rear of the monitors. It also helps you to achieve the most accurate stereo image possible.
 
Smart Touchpoints - customise your workflow
 
Another highly useful feature is the introduction of Smart Touchpoints. These Touchpoints allow you to customise your workflow on the fly. You can route and configure the various output and monitor controls to cater to different projects and monitoring styles.
 
Console style control
 
Audient have long been a household name when it comes to high-end studio gear. The Nero is no exception to this rule, featuring David Dearden designed circuitry and a comprehensive control section. It provides you with options such as user defined dim for setting the attenuation. Latching buttons are also included, perfect for activating dim, mono or talkback with a tap.
Cue mix monitoring allows you to demo what the artist is hearing, so you can fix problems with ease. The Smart Mono mode allows you to assign a mono speaker, without preventing mono functions from other sources. You can also select from three input sources for your talkback microphone, so you can use both dynamic and condenser microphones as well as the internal mic. With its robust all-metal construction and Obsidian Black finish, the Nero will seamlessly blend into any studio setting.
