The Grimm Audio CC2 Rackmount is an ultra-low-jitter master clock for professional studios, mastering rooms, broadcast environments and high-end audio systems with word-clock capability. This demo unit is fully tested, technically flawless and ready for immediate use.
Built around Grimm Audio’s proprietary oscillator technology, the CC2 provides a highly stable external timing reference for compatible AD/DA converters, audio interfaces, digital mixers and other word-clock-equipped devices. Its purpose is simple: establish a reliable, precisely timed digital clock foundation across your system.
Unlike the compact desktop version, this model features the dedicated 19-inch rackmount front panel, making it an elegant and practical solution for permanent installation in studio and mastering racks.

The two independently usable word-clock outputs allow the CC2 to clock two compatible digital devices from one central source. Each connected device should be configured as a word-clock slave. Grimm specifies the CC2’s intrinsic jitter at less than 0.6 ps RMS above 10 Hz; the unit supports the standard professional sample-rate family from 44.1 kHz through 192 kHz.
