About Audiomica Laboratory

Audiomica Laboratory is an esteemed Polish high-end cable manufacturer based in Gorlice, Lesser Poland. The company was founded in 2005 by Łukasz Mika and has since specialized in developing and producing high-quality audiophile connection technology. After over 15 years of intensive research, testing, and development, a small group of enthusiasts grew into an internationally active production and trading company with distributors on all continents.

From Research to Global Market Position

Audiomica's early years were strictly focused on research and development of cable designs and techniques – the brand was not yet commercially available. In 2007, Audiomica Labs launched its first offering: the Mica Transparent cable, featuring a unique analog signal filter – the patented DFSS (Double Filtering Signal System). This cable used a proprietary "Silver-Alloy" conductor, an alloy of silver and copper.

In 2010, the company found its new headquarters in Gorlice. With more space, technical and research departments could be separated from production, leading to the creation of the new brand Acoustic Points. Distribution now covered Poland and Scandinavian countries.

Technological Milestones

In 2011, Audiomica Laboratory began gaining access to advanced metallurgical technologies and developed carbon techniques in the combustion synthesis of nanostructured nanomaterials. In 2014, new generations of anti-interference filters were created and implemented in the new cable lines Excellence, Ultra Reference, and Consequence.

In 2016, distribution expanded to the USA, China, Japan, the Philippines, and most of Europe. In 2018, Audiomica created the world's only machine for braiding conductors at tempering temperatures – an industry first.

The Silver Signature Series from Audiomica Laboratory features premium high-end hifi cables with silver-plated OCC 7N copper conductors (99.99999% purity). The Cristal Silver Signature speaker cables use world's purest monocrystal Ohno Continuous Cast (OCC) copper coated with pure silver for exceptional audiophile speaker cables performance. Six conductors of different thicknesses ensure superior frequency separation, while dual conductor diameters maximize the skin effect for optimal signal transmission. Each conductor is insulated with flexible FEP and protected by triple shielding using proprietary CTB™ technology with 360° coverage. The dense copper shielding braids are additionally silver-plated. The Veroni Silver Signature interconnect cables feature pure silver OCC 4N monocrystal conductors in micro-conductor structure with isolated positive/negative conductors. Both cables include antistatic Acoustic Points couplers and optional DFSS/TFSS filters (Premium/Luxury versions) for enhanced anti-interference protection. Connectors are tellurium copper with double rhodium plating via DCP process – ten times thicker than standard galvanization. The Consequence series includes the most advanced cables in the Audiomica Laboratory offer. The cables are made of a copper conductor OCC N7 with large cross-sections and a TPFE dielectric. In addition, the cables are terminated with proprietary plugs that have been subjected to the double rhodium plating technology in the DCP process. All Consequence cables are Multi-Shields screened; unique braids of different densities were used to ensure full protection against external influences. Depending on the selected version (standard / premium / luxury), dedicated antistatic smart couplers and filters have been developed for all cables in the series, which provide excellent protection against static electrical changes. The Consequence series was designed with the most advanced and uncompromising hi-fi systems in mind.

The offer of the Ultra Reference line is a combination for demanding owners of refined audio systems. The cables within the series are partly made of silver-plated copper and conductors of OCC copper and FEP dielectric. The cables are shielded with a silver-plated braid in the Multi-Shields system, and most of them are terminated with proprietary plugs that have been subjected to the double rhodium plating technology in the DCP process. Most cables from the Ultra Reference series in the standard version are equipped with antistatic smart couplers by Acoustics Points, while for the premium and luxury versions additional filters are provided. POM-C AP50 material provides excellent protection against static electrical charges.

The Excellence series is a combination of the highest quality materials (dielectrics, OCC N6 copper conductor, antistatic smart couplers, proprietary plugs), advanced design solutions and technologies that define cables characterized by balanced sound without distortions with amazing dynamics and harmony. For all interconnects from the series, a choice of versions has been introduced with the possibility of making a cable with an additional DFSS or TFSS filter. The Reference Series offer is an uncompromising solution addressed to owners of both the most sophisticated and mid-range audio systems, and the cables themselves are distinguished by an excellent value for money. Typical of all Red series cables is that the main conductor is OFC copper with increased cross-section and FEP dielectric. The Reference series is equipped with solid and gold-plated 24-carat gold plugs. Depending on the type and version of the cable, it can be made with an additional anti-interference filter and an antistatic smart coupler

The Gray series is characterized by solid construction and high quality of workmanship in its price range. It is designed for budget and medium-class hi-fi systems. The cable structure is mainly based on multi-core OFC copper conductors and FEP dielectric. The screen is made of copper braids and aluminum foil. Most of the Gray series cables are terminated with high-quality gold-plated 24-carat gold plugs. In addition, the cables are handcrafted and electrically tested in our laboratory. At the customer’s request, selected cables from the series can be made with an additional anti-interference DFSS or TFSS filter closed by antistatic smart couplers.

When "Good" is the Enemy of Perfect

Connectors -
Double Coating Process

The truth is, most audio connectors are a weak link. We investigated and found that nearly 90% of plugs on the market are plated with an inconsistency that compromises signal integrity.

This is not audiophile lore; it is physics. While low-frequency current flows through the entire conductor, high-frequency current travels not through its core, but along its surface.
The quality of that surface—the plating—is therefore not a detail; it is everything.

The perfect insulator is a vacuum. The next best is air. This is the principle that guides our approach. While a pure air dielectric is not yet practical for flexible cables, we have engineered a method to get remarkably close. The best solid dielectric available is Teflon (FEP), known for its incredible stability and minimal energy absorption. But we knew we could do better.

Our solution is Extruded Teflon. Through a specialized manufacturing process, we introduce countless microscopic air bubbles into the structure of the Teflon insulation. This creates a matrix that is part solid, part air. In practice, the conductor is suspended in a dielectric that behaves far more like pure air than any solid material alone.

This technology allows us to achieve a level of transparency and neutrality that is simply not possible with conventional insulators. By minimizing dielectric distortion at its most fundamental level, the signal remains pure, dynamic, and uncolored. You hear the music exactly as it was intended, without the subtle yet persistent sonic signature of the material that surrounds the wire.
