Each One12 uses a 4.5" aluminium woofer and a 1" titanium dome tweeter set into a high‑density Corian waveguide. This combination, together with Amphion’s very low 1600 Hz crossover point, keeps the entire critical midrange in a single driver and ensures excellent time and phase coherence between woofer and tweeter. The result is a rock‑solid phantom centre, three‑dimensional stereo imaging and an unusually wide sweet spot for such a small speaker – you can move around the desk and still trust what you are hearing.
Instead of a port, the One12 employs a rear passive radiator in a sealed‑style cabinet, which delivers tight, even low end without exaggerated port resonances.
