By significantly reducing mains noise and high‑frequency interference, the SRX PowerCell lowers the noise floor and allows more detail, transparency and microdynamics to emerge. Unlimited power, reference performance

The SRX PowerCell is Synergistic Research’s no‑compromise statement power conditioner, developed over 15 years of PowerCell design. It combines the largest array of electromagnetic (EM) Cells ever used in a PowerCell with point‑to‑point wiring in 6N pure silver and the latest ULF bias technology to deliver effortless dynamics, density and realism in top-tier systems.Instead of active regeneration or conventional capacitor banks, the SRX PowerCell uses DC‑biased EM Cells to stabilize the electromagnetic field your system operates in. The goal is not to “choke” current, but to create coherence and a stable environment for the AC waveform – so your amplifiers no longer fight phase distortion and field collapse. The result is more dynamics, clarity and perceived power, without adding a single watt.

Massive EM Cell arrayCompared to the PowerCell 14, the EM Cells in the SRX PowerCell are significantly larger and provide a much greater conditioning surface area. A total of 16 large EM Cells are arranged across three isolated outlet banks, delivering an extremely low noise floor and improved dynamic contrast.The EM Cells also act as a kind of supercapacitor, storing a large amount of energy and delivering peak current that exceeds a standard 20 A wall circuit. Even very power‑hungry amplifiers can sound more dynamic and controlled when connected through the SRX PowerCell.

Pure silver, point-to-point wiring

To accommodate very high peak currents, each SRX PowerCell is hand‑wired point to point with approximately one kilogram of 6N pure silver, totaling around 40 metres of conductor. This ultra‑low impedance construction ensures unrestricted current delivery and minimizes losses between inlet, EM Cells and outlets.Re-engineered ULF and DC biasThe SRX PowerCell uses an advanced ULF (Ultra Low Frequency) bias system that references the Schumann resonance to reduce RF and very high frequency noise in the listening environment. The power supply and ULF field generator build on the Galileo SX platform and have been extensively re‑engineered, including new 24k gold UEF tuning circuits for greater harmonic richness and musicality.

Three selectable bias “voicings” allow you to fine‑tune the system’s presentation:
Blue (default): large, enveloping soundstage with linear balance.
Green: slightly more forward midrange and increased bass weight.
Red: ideal for large‑scale performances and electronic music.

Grounding and system integration

An internal UEF Ground Plane, first introduced in the Galileo SX PowerCell, further lowers the noise floor and expands soundstage depth. For even higher performance, the SRX PowerCell can be connected to a Synergistic Research Active Ground Block, improving low‑frequency weight and attack while freeing all outlets for components.With its 20 outlets and extremely low-impedance design, the SRX PowerCell is engineered to become the central power distribution and conditioning hub for complete reference-level audio systems.
